Today is my final day of the detox, for breakfast I had an organic apple and a glass of organic tomato juice. For lunch I added in organic lentils. I had the lentils over brown and wild rice over spinach, spring mix and some brocolli. If you told me 2 weeks ago that I would love that, I would have thought you were crazy…it has to have some meat or chicken to be really good. But it was delicious.
I also went to an organic farm today and bought some heirloom tomatoes, I am going to cut those up with some organic basil for dinner tonight over rice. YUM! I also bought organic Medjool Dates, it’s like eating candy they are so sweet and good. If you have never had one, just buy one at your local grocery store and try it, you can thank me later.
I still haven’t had an hunger pangs, mostly I get lightheaded, that’s how I know it is time to eat. I am very excited that I completed my goal with this detox. I will pay very close attention to what foods I add back into my diet and how they make me feel. A friend just compared it to being like a baby, adding each new food and seeing what/how it works for you. I like that comparison very much and look forward to determining what makes me feel the best.
