I have finished my first E-Book and I am very excited to share it with you.  Soon it will be available for FREE .  Sign up for my E-Newsletter and you will receive the link for the book.  It should be available by Monday the 8th.

Here is a little blurb from the book, enjoy.

Any weight loss is a success; don’t tie yourself to a number so tightly that you feel you have failed if you don’t reach “the goal.” There is more to weight loss than just the numbers on the scale.  Pay attention to how you feel, are you in control, breathing easier, more active. Success is not the finish line it is the journey, pay close attention to the changes you are making in your day to day life. All these factors go into your “goal” weight. Base your success on how you feel, not just physically but mentally as well.  The scale and the weight charts are just one measure of your results.

Grateful

It is scientifically impossible to be both grateful and depressed at the same time -Wallace Wattles

I just came across this while reading Philosophers Notes (Brian Wilson) and had to share it with you.  Please make a list of 10 things you are grateful for.  Any 10 things, right now, make a list.  Is it made?  Do you have it in front of you?    Spend a few minutes each day reviewing this list and think of it throughout each day.  It needn’t be elaborate, just things or people  that you are grateful for.

Here are a few on my list that I quickly made when I paused my notes to write them down.  Diet coke, clean running hot and cold water, my laptop, Samantha and Homer (Pets), Andy, my Clients, my slippers, and my warm and dry house.

Again look at your list daily, be in gratitude, all good comes from gratitude.
Thank you for reading this and being in my life, I am grateful that I am able to share with you.

Cooking = Relaxing

If you have been reading my blog for the past week you know that I have been detoxing my body and mind.  Well over the past couple of days lots more clarity on what triggers me.   Not just my own emotions but those of the people around me that I love.  I find this extraordinarily interesting.   Here’s the big difference, when I get anxious my pattern is to reach for food, it calms me.  However, when people are upset around me, I want to feed them. YIKES!

I have been going back in my memories to see if I can recall this occuring in my life.  My Mom was not a eat you’ll feel better person, but my Dad definitely ate through his stress.   I picked up his pattern, I am leaving that pattern daily.

What I notice is how much I miss the act of cooking, it’s not so much the actual eating, but the cooking.  I love to cook, it has always been very calming for me.  It allows my creative juices to flow, it keeps me active and it takes my mind off of whatever is bothering me.  Over the past 10 years I have learned to cook very healthy, low calorie meals so it has worked out great.

But and this is a big but, I have not cooked for anyone since last Wednesday and with emotions running wild due to the Detox I realize how much a part of my life cooking is.   I am truly loving how much I am learning and what is coming up during this process.  I hope that even if you don’t do as long or extreme a detox, I do really hope that you do some kind of detox.

It has been a thrill so far and still no physical hunger, and not one headache either.  What a fabulous 8 days, I am looking forward to more feelings coming up and more learning.  It has truly been a wonderful experience so far.

I am very excited to be planning my body cleanse.  I will be starting it on August 10th.  The first 3 days will be organic fruits, vegetables and whole grains along with organic lentils and beans.

Day 4 it’s strictly organic fruit and vegetables juices, maintaining approximately 1200 calories daily to give me the energy required to function.

I am looking forward to being cleansed from the inside out, it will help me physically and spiritually.  Clean body, clear mind.
Would you like to join me on my journey?  Just email me and I will send you all the information.   There are no drugs, chemicals or anything like that.  It is all organic foods and juices as well as purified water.

Push yourself, you will be amazed by what you will accomplish.

I just returned home from a 3 day seminar in San Diego hosted by James Ray.  It was incredible, I won’t be giving you the details of what we did, however I will say that the learning was immense.  I am so grateful that I am able to attend these kind of seminars that quite honestly change my very being.  I know that with each course I take, my willingness and ability to change me grows.  I get so very excited about my own growth and  that it spills into my coaching as well.   I am moving forward with joy and abundance in my heart and soul.  I am  thrilled to share my joy with all of you.   Thank you for being in my life, I am truly blessed.
